From the desk of… Denver Wire Rope & Supply

It certainly is a pleasure to announce that DWR has been in the construction supply and wire rope business for 25 years. We have witnessed other wire rope companies come and go and expect to outlast the rest. With the experience and guidance from Ed Gubanich, the President, we will continue to offer superb quality products, qualified training and professional hoist, crane and sling inspection services. DWR is family owned business which was started in 1983 to offer an alternate source for wire rope and lifting products. At that time there was only one other supplier in our market and we gave them a run for the money.

 Our family business has an extreme amount of industrial and wire rope experience. Ed brings 40 plus years of experience from United States Steel and has established a niche for our specialized lifting, rigging and training experience. Carol, Ed’s wife, has brought her savvy business outlook, inventory control and accounting education and has put it to great use. Robert (Bob) has been with the company since its inception and continues to offer the cutting edge in training and crane/ hoist inspection. Gary, the middle son has been with the company 21 years and brings his Quality Assurance and managerial back ground to good use and overviews the operations.  Ken, the youngest son brings his enthusiastic sales ability, product knowledge and his love for hunting and the outdoors a bright spot in the wire rope business.   Don’t be fooled by the rest, come visit us, the best.
